I haven't seen the film yet because I own the book and wanted to read it first. I imagine the book will be equally sad...
yes, I have the book too and wanted to read it first, but wanted to see it so much I couldn't wait. I still plan on reading the book though (a first for me!) :) probably still a good read, hope you enjoy the literature since the content is so sad.
